For the ultimate smooth action I use double phosphor bronze washers on both sides of the blade. The action on these doesn't need to be broken in and should be buttery smooth out of the box.

When your knife is on the bench I will contact you to let you know. I'll then ask for the balance (the labelled cost minus the deposit) only when the knife is completed and you are happy with the final piece.
